How To Apply
Age: 17 - 30 years old
Starting or returning to college (not currently enrolled, PSEO in high school still qualifies).
Pell Grant or MN North Star Promise eligible.
Hennepin County resident.
8 semester credits per semester.
Continually enrolled and taking at least 8 semester credits.
At least a 2.8 cumulative GPA, no semester under a 2.0.

Scholarship Application
Please fill out the application form to be considered for a Planting Seeds Education scholarship. There are no “right” answers. We are interested in understanding your goals, your circumstances, and how this scholarship could help you take your next step. Many people take non-traditional paths to education. The questions help us understand your goals and how this scholarship might support your next step.
Planting Seeds Education is currently prioritizing students who are pursuing community college and trade schools who are Pell Grant or MN North Star Promise eligible. We hope to expand our support to other types of schools.
This application is designed to be completed in one session, and should take about 60 minutes.
Applications are currently being accepted for Fall 2026. The priority deadline is May 8, 2026.
